WHAT DATA THE EXTENSION TRANSMITS

✓ Text content for processing
- Text you select or type is sent to our server for processing
- Full texts are not permanently stored
- For usage history, we store first 500 characters and result (can be deleted)

✓ Authentication data
- API token for account verification
- Email and name (only during registration)

✓ Usage metadata
- Number of processed tokens and texts
- Request type (grammar/rewrite/translation)

✓ Technical data
- IP address for security and abuse prevention
- Browser type

WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT

✗ Full content of your documents or emails
✗ Your browsing history
✗ Data from websites where you don't use the extension
✗ Personal data without your consent

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• Providing AI services (grammar, translations, rewriting)
• Account and subscription management
• Improving service quality
• Ensuring security and preventing abuse
• Technical support

SECURITY

• All data transmitted via HTTPS (TLS 1.3)
• Server data encryption (AES-256)
• Passwords hashed using bcrypt
• GDPR compliant
• Servers in the EU

YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)

You have the right to:
• Access your data
• Correct incorrect data
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data
• Object to processing

DATA RETENTION

• Account data: for the duration of your account
• Usage history: first 500 characters of text and result (you can delete)
• Full processed texts: deleted immediately after processing
• After account deletion: everything erased within 30 days

COOKIES

The extension only uses:
• chrome.storage.sync to store API token
• No tracking cookies
• No advertising cookies

THIRD-PARTY DATA SHARING

We DO NOT share your data with third parties except:
• Stripe (payment processing, only when purchasing)
