Pulse SMS Extension by Pulse SMS

by Firefox user 13498065, 3 years agoMy Pulse SMS extension is almost completely greyed out, can't see anything. I connect to my account and my inbox is all grey, even managed to get into the settings by guess-clicking and changed between all the different themes and it's still completely unusable. Nothing changes.

- Rated 3 out of 5by RideauTrio, a year agoI do love this app, but every time I enable it in Firefox, the fan in my 2022 Vivo Laptop kick in. When I open
>> More Tools >> Task Manager, I see that it's eating up 42% of the CPU.
The moment I disable the PulseSMS addon, the fans stop and CPU use returns to nominal.
This is some bad coding, it needs to be looked at. - Rated 5 out of 5by rdp73667, 2 years agoBest Message App I've Found. Works across all platforms, including desktop PC.
- Rated 4 out of 5by A I, 2 years agoVideo player is primitive, with not so friendly interface. Otherwise the extension and the whole concept is very good. No images are loading anymore. It's been several weeks, with no fix for that. I had to switch to Google Messages because the web interface is essential for me.

- Rated 4 out of 5by NoRelation, 4 years agoIt can be a little slow to send messages, but it generally receives them and updates really quick. Overall, this extension makes for a really convenient user experience.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Zygen, 4 years agoWould be a 100% 5 stars if I could get notifications to work for it, but unfortunately, the way it works it seems that notifications will only show if the extension itself is opened and close when the extension window is closed, which makes notifications basically useless.

- Rated 2 out of 5by GuessWhoMagoo, 5 years agoThis does not stay signed in. Even in the same window it was signed in from; ie. last night I signed into the extension (again). I opened the browser window 9 hours later and had to sign in...again.
Galaxy Watch plugin has other more grievous issues. I emailed dev (bought lifetime) months ago, no reply.
Disappointed. All around. - Rated 4 out of 5by schtevers, 5 years agoIt works fairly well. Unfortunately in Firefox, no content is displayed when you click the icon in the browser toolbar. You have to open a separate window to see content. I've had this same issue in both Windows and Linux versions of Firefox. It works fine in Chrome. I wish that would get fixed, but the extension itself is invaluable.
