- Rated 5 out of 5by cheeseslope, 2 years agoGreat™ — What a gift. I love being able to edit my feed on the fly. Thank you
I’m also using the Stylebot extension to completely hide Larry-Filtered-tweets:
[data-tweet-hidden-parent] {
display: none;
} - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 6229946, 4 years agoThis extension is very useful at search, because muted words don't work there. I have two feature request to ask. 1) Completely hide the space of hidden tweets or minimize to the max. 2) Stop videos from hidden tweets from loading, so that spammers don't get the view and to save Internet bandwidth.

- Rated 5 out of 5by 88MPH, 4 years agoMay 20th 2020 - So far this is working in the Search results and that's exactly where I needed for this to work. Although Twitter's own "muted words" feature may filter your timeline, their built-in filter does not filter results from searches so Larry Filter saves the day here.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15972676, 5 years agoNo longer works. Even tried removing and re-adding. Still doesn't work. Used to be a good extension
- Rated 5 out of 5by Argoman, 5 years agoIt used to be great and very useful but now it does nothing (tested with the latest version of the addon and the new Twitter design)
EDIT: As of May 2020 it's working again. It's too bad that with the new design it can't completely hide the tweets instead of having those white spaces in your timeline, but it's a lot better than not having this extension at all.
Second edit: it only lasted a week or so. It's so annoying that Twitter keep making changes that break this add-on. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14785545, 6 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13112025, 6 years agoAfter updating to 2.3.0, tweets with filter words show up as vacant tweet with a crossed eye on it even I set filtering method as "Hide the tweets"
- Rated 3 out of 5by Saturnia, 6 years agoDoes not work with the new version of Twitter, unfortunately. (Firefox Quantum 65.0.2 64 bits).

- Rated 5 out of 5by Oliver, 7 years agoI've seen negative reviews in older comments, I imagine the issues that were mentioned have been fixed, because I experienced none of them and it's worked just fine since day 1 in my case.

Wishlist:
1. Can you filter link from video media on twitter?
2. Lack of toggle on/off
3. FIlter profile - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12949415, 8 years agoTweets with filtered words are hidden only after installing the add-on from scratch.
When the timeline refreshes or even when the browser is restarted, tweets are no longer hidden. Annoying.
Also, regular expressions are not supported. That fact would not make me write a bad review, but it would *really* be nice to have and probably not hard to implement. - Rated 3 out of 5by Tope ojo, 8 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12838615, 8 years agoI was told by the app developer (on Twitter) that version 2.1 was submitted. The following is what was told to me: "We just sent an update to Mozilla with a new "persistent" storage system. It will be fully transparent for you. During the update, your filters will be migrated on the new system. We stopped using localStorage data which can be deleted by CCleaner or Firefox restart (if configured). Oh and little bonus: this 2.1.0 update will allow you to import/export your filters in a file for backup."
- Rated 1 out of 5by robart, 8 years agoI'm using Firefox 50.1.0.
I added some keywords to the filter list, and when I browse a tweet and its responses, tweets with the words in my filter list are clearly not being hidden as I configured them to be.
Unfortunate, but hopefully it will be fixed in the future.Developer response
posted 8 years agoHi Robart,
We published some updates since december 2016. Please have a look on the last version and let us know if the issue still exists (it should not). And note that the extension will be updated again in the next days to add some features!
Have a nice day :)
