- Rated 5 out of 5by Renato, 4 years agoOne of the best site blockers I've seem. I enjoy the amount of options, the way you can set up barriers for yourself (like password protecting), allowing timers for some website but not all, a time block that can be different for each website, etc.
Not only I'll continue using this extension to stop opening reddit and youtube when I should be working, but I will also set up timers so I don't waste more than 5 minutes of my free time scrolling endlessly on twitter and hackernews.
I can recommend this to almost anyone, since all features are free, easy to understand and can fit all type of user case.
Great job. - Rated 5 out of 5by Implausible Feloniousness, 4 years agoDoes a good job at protecting me from some bad websites, that tend to open new pages through some evasive scripts.

- Rated 5 out of 5by pabpab999, 4 years agoI've been using Ublock to block myself from time-wasting website in the past
but it's just a deterrent, this add-on might still also be a deterrent (cause I think I can still manually bypass it?) but letting me put in the duration of the lockdown makes me not want to actually break it - Rated 5 out of 5by JK92, 4 years agoDoes what it should do. Blocking me from extraction or make it harder to visit Sites I shouldnt be visiting right now

- Rated 5 out of 5by Jimb, 4 years agoLeechBlock is the best extension I've used for this purpose. I don't think I would have gotten my degree if it wasn't for LeechBlock preventing distractions :)

- Rated 5 out of 5by Shoaloak, 4 years agoLeechBlock NG is a very good add-on! It does exactly as advertised.
A very nice redirect URL for your leeches would be "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random", so you actually learn something worthwhile when looking for a distraction ;) - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16931407, 4 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 17001178, 4 years agoThis extension is great at helping me with self-discipline. But there is one tiny detail that detracts from it a lot. It's the timer in the upper left corner. Yes, I realize if you double click on it it goes away, but you have to do this EVERY time you load a new page you haven't been to before. I find it frustrating and stressful to constantly have to remove a timer as I am using the internet. Please update the extension and make a way to permanently remove it! Thank you :)

posted 4 years agoIf you want to get rid of the timer altogether, uncheck "Show timer over page" under General options. If you want to hide it for some block sets but not others, uncheck "Show countdown timer for this block set" under Advanced Options for those block sets.
