About this extension
What is Locoglobe?
Locoglobe turns every sidewalk, dorm, and café into a living social marketplace. Swipe TikTok-style clips, scroll Reddit-like threads, or jump into Tophatter-style flash auctions—all ranked by a transparent Geo-Viral Score that blends likes, shares, distance, and time-decay.

⭐ Key features
Hyper-local feed Posts nearest you surface first; farther stories need stronger engagement to travel.
Swipe or scroll Seamlessly switch between vertical video, image carousels, GIFs, and text threads.
Flash auctions Snap a photo, set a 60-second timer, and watch bids roll in.
One-click sharing Right-click any page, link, image, or selected text → Share to Locoglobe.
Transparent ranking Every post shows its live spread-coefficient, so you see exactly why it’s trending.
Privacy by design Location is fuzzed to ~1 km grids—no trackers, no creepy profiling.

How it works
Install & pin the Locoglobe icon.

On first launch we grab a fuzzy location (never exact GPS).

Browse or share:

Open the popup to explore nearby buzz.

Or right-click anywhere online → “Share to Locoglobe.”

Our Geo-Viral Score refreshes every few seconds:

markdown
Copy
Edit
(likes − dislikes + shares) × 1 / (1 + distance / 100 km)

(hours + 2) ^ 1.2

The hotter the score, the wider the reach—organically, without ads.

Why you’ll love it
Re-localize your social life—discover pop-up gigs, yard sales, or community alerts the moment they happen.

Monetize clutter: sell a bike, art print, or vintage camera in under a minute.

Stay private: no cross-site tracking and no dark patterns—ever.

Own the vibe: users, not hidden algorithms, decide what the city sees next.
