LugalVault - Quick Add is a focused browser companion for saving vocabulary, understanding sentences, and learning from YouTube captions with your connected LugalVault account.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Manually enter a word or phrase.
• Choose an optional part of speech: noun, verb, adjective, adverb, or phrase.
• Add up to two meanings and three example sentences.
• Use AI Fill on request to receive meaning suggestions in your saved word-meaning language and example sentences in your active study language.
• Review and edit every suggested field before saving.
• Save the completed entry to your LugalVault vocabulary collection.
• Type or paste a sentence of up to 500 characters and request a concise AI explanation in your saved word-meaning language. The sentence must match your active study language.
• Optionally enable interactive subtitles on YouTube. With captions visible, click a word to pause playback and see its meaning in the current short subtitle context.
• Review available word details and an AI-generated example, then save the completed YouTube entry directly to LugalVault when the response contains the required details.
• Disable interactive subtitles from the popup at any time.
• Connect through the LugalVault website using the sign-in methods available there, or sign in directly with an email address or username and password.
• Sign out and clear the extension's local session from the popup.

The supported study and explanation languages are English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Turkish, and Arabic. When YouTube exposes a caption language, that language must also be selected as a learning language in the connected LugalVault account.

A LugalVault account and an internet connection are required. The extension is free to install, but account-backed actions follow LugalVault's plan, daily allowance, safety-rate-limit, and wallet rules. Current Basic, Pro, and Plus plans include 10, 15, and 20 Sentence explanations per day; Sentence explanations do not currently use wallet overage. Those plans include 30, 40, and 50 Context Meaning lookups per day. After that Context Meaning allowance, or without a plan, a lookup can use available wallet balance at the currently disclosed rate of USD $0.01 per lookup. Saving a word separately consumes the account's Word Add allowance or wallet balance. Current limits and rates are shown in LugalVault's billing page and may change with the service terms.

FIREFOX PERMISSION NOTE

Firefox asks you to approve the extension's connection to api.lugalvault.com the first time you open the popup. YouTube access is separate and optional: Firefox requests it only after a signed-in user clicks Enable on YouTube. The optional website-content consent applies only to the currently displayed short YouTube caption and clicked caption word described below. Text that a user manually enters into the extension's Word or Sentence forms is processed only after that user requests AI assistance, an explanation, or a save.

PRIVACY AND DATA USE

To connect your account and provide the features above, the extension sends necessary account and sign-in information, authentication tokens, and the vocabulary details you choose to submit to the LugalVault API over HTTPS. Vocabulary details can include a word or phrase, an optional part of speech, meanings, example sentences, and the active/output language context needed to apply your saved language preferences. When you click AI Fill, the word and language context for that request are sent through the LugalVault API and may be processed by the enabled AI language service provider solely to return the requested multilingual suggestions.

When you click Explain sentence, only the sentence you typed or pasted and the active/output language context are sent through the LugalVault API and may be processed by the enabled AI language service provider solely to return the requested concise explanation. The Sentence tool does not automatically read the current webpage, selected page text, or clipboard content, and the extension does not persist the submitted sentence in extension local storage.

The extension stores the signed-in account identifier and display information, authentication and refresh tokens, an extension device identifier, short-lived connection state, and whether interactive subtitles are enabled in browser local storage. It does not store captions, clicked words, video URLs, or watch history. If you use direct email or username sign-in, the password is transmitted over HTTPS for authentication and is not stored by the extension. As with normal HTTPS requests, LugalVault may process standard technical and security data such as IP address, user agent, request logs, and diagnostic or abuse-prevention signals.

Interactive subtitles are off by default. If you approve the optional youtube.com access, the extension reads only the currently displayed short caption so its words can become interactive. Only after you click a subtitle word does it send that clicked word, the current short subtitle, and the active/output language context through the LugalVault API; the enabled AI language service provider may process that data solely to return the requested contextual meaning and generated example. If you then click Save to LugalVault, the resulting word, reusable meaning, available part of speech, and generated example are sent to the vocabulary API. It does not collect or transmit video, audio, full transcripts, watch history, or other YouTube page content.

Outside that optional YouTube feature, the extension does not read page content or selected page text. It does not collect browsing history, clipboard contents, personal communications, precise location, health information, or payment information. It does not show advertising and LugalVault does not sell extension user data.
