- Rated 3 out of 5by jahtnamas, 2 years agopinafore was recently marked unmaintained. i'm in the process of finding an alternative that uses mastodon's mobile UI and allows me to switch between servers. or just, anything at all that's relatively updated???
edit: thought i'd update my review to suggest using the semaphore fork of pinafore since it _is_ maintained. - Rated 4 out of 5by 🌱 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙚『ジュソレ』✊, 3 years agoGood extension but it hasn't a toolbar button nor a shortcut and is not translated to Spanish.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14499283, 6 years agoI wrote pinafore.social, and I approve of this add-on. This is a really neat way to use it!
In response to negative reviews: note that Pinafore requires the latest version of Firefox, not ESR. Also it will not work if you disable LocalStorage or IndexedDB, because it stores all data locally. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14230391, 6 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13268542, 6 years agoPB ne fonctionne pas avec FIREFOX ESR (la dernière disponible est 52.9.0 du 26 juin 2018:
pb with FIREFOX ESR Version 52.9.0, first offered to ESR channel users on June 26, 2018

There's only one thing I don't like, every time I open the sidebar, it defaults to the config tab. I don't know whether this is a mastodon.social thing or rather something I don't know how to configure. But an option to change the default tab would be amazing!
Good job! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13598172, 7 years agoReports that it supports multiple instances, but was unable to get that to work. You can provide multiple instances, but you can only login to mostodon.social. It's totally unacceptable that a federated network client would be so tightly bound to one instance. I was unable to locate any documentation to determine if I was doing something unexpected.

posted 7 years agoIt is Mastodon as a Sidebar and Mastodon itself uses cookies. There is not much I can do here unless I write a full client that uses something else. - Rated 2 out of 5by Daniel, 7 years ago

But nice work :DDeveloper response
posted 7 years agoUPDATE: The version was not approved because to make it work, I basically used the equivalent of a proxy removing the needed CSP headers. AMO Reviewers obviously were not happy. I might need to write a client from scratch to solve this.
Thanks for letting me know of this bug. I have just updated the add-on and think I have fixed it. At least I can register and use mamot.fr without problems as can be see on the screen shot at http://take.ms/COFLq
The new version is numbered 1.1, it is on the queue waiting for approval. You can follow me on Mastodon at soapdog@toot.cafe, I will announce the new version there once it is approved. - Rated 5 out of 5by tkpx, 7 years agoPour le moment, ça fonctionne sans soucis.
J'ai bien les notification, le rendu est propre et c'est facile de passer d'une instance à l'autre si on possède plusieurs comptes. Donc pour le moment c'est tout bon :)
