I've been using this add-on for 3 years now and despite some issues, it works for saving images on Instagram.

That said, saving videos is completely broken.

Pressing the button does NOT bring up save dialog, so you end up pressing the button a few times.. nothing.

Then like 2 mins later, suddenly multiple save dialogs open up to save this video. In all this time you can just head to a online Instagram video downloading site and download the video, it's faster to do all that (esp. if you bookmark that site).

This is absolutely brilliant add-on and essential for Instagram grabs! Sure this kind of add-ons often go broken due to Firefox updates or Instagram site updates, but this developer is so quick with the fixes and soon we're back on track again :) And the features are the best: grabs pics, grabs story videos, grabs multi-pic posts. And the file naming is just right: somebody complained about "lot of numbers" in file name, but that's just the initial Instagram publication filename! This add-on is so very kind as to add the IG account name to the beginning of filename, which really helps in sorting out the files. Really, A BIG Thank You to the creator "mittya" for this!

Great add on, however I think the latest update to Firefox 89.0.1 broke it. Unable to find any place to let the developer know. Hope it is fixed soon.

An easy to use add-on that does what it says it does. I'm glad that the most recent update (1.18.2) has fixed the issues that have existed for the last few weeks.
