- Rated 4 out of 5by Anne, 5 years agoThis is extremely useful both to protect my privacy and keep environments separate. There are two essential features missing, in my opinion, though.
First, the option to reorder the categories. As it is now, if I want my tabs to appear in a different order when I click on "Sort tabs", I have to manually delete the containers and recreate them.
Second, for users who keep lots of tabs open (like me), it would be nice to have sessions only within one container, so that everything in the session will be automatically opened within it. At the same time, other tabs opened in different containers would stay stored so that, next time you open a default session, all types of tabs will be opened together. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14639454, 5 years ago

Would be nice to associate the current tab directly to a container, without having to use the '+' or open in new container and copy/paste the address.
Also, having the option to add icons from local files or, if this is not possible, from emoticon tables. - Rated 4 out of 5by Joseph, 5 years agoNice and useful feature

Also, having the option to add the icon selected would be helpful as well, otherwise why is the option to choose an icon available in the first place? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14738655, 5 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by felipe1982, 5 years agoI use this in conjuction with Amazon Web Services to log into multiple accounts at the same time. It works very well. I do not like that it shares the same CTRL+. shortcut button that 1Password X does, though 😢

- Rated 3 out of 5by ----, 5 years agoI have a love hate relationship with this addon, as it is a halfbaked solution, missing many UX easy of use features. For example if I open a window in one container, I would like to associate to that to Work/Play environment and not always click on the stupid container addon to select which container I want to open a window in. Please think more about the design and usability of this addon.

This should be excellent, but in reality a few bugs make for a frustrating experience.
The containerization really helps when working with multiple contracts for multiple work accounts, allowing several Office 365 sessions to be signed it at a time.
I love the facebook container, as I use facebook once in a blue moon, and love that this keeps it in it's own tiny bubble.
There is some inconsistency though:
1. By default firefox opens with no default container. This means you have to open a new tab in the correct container, before you start browsing, then close the original tab.
2. If you use the keybord shortcut to open a container, it does not prompt you to choose a container, it opens an uncontainerized tab, forcing you to either reopen the tab in the correct container, or use the + in the bar, which is significantly slower from a workflow point of view.
3. You cannot set home pages per container. By default, my "work" container (for my company) always accesses the same site, with all tools launched through that site. If i could set that as the home page for my work container, then it would save me a dozen clicks and keyboard presses 30-40 times a day. Add that time up.
4. You cannot assign a book marked site to a container, as above this would vastly improve matters. THis would make the Top sites useful, as clicking them would immediately take you to the site in the correct container, likewise would mean technical research would be faster as you would not have to open the correct container by clicking the +, then choosing the container, then selecting the bookmark.
5. Turn off the No Container option. Now I'm using containers, all my workflow fits into one of the configured containers, so the no container option is obsolete.
6. Make the option to Sort tabs by container a permanent setting, rather than a one off setting. I end up using this option several times a day to regroup related sites running in the same container together for organisation, but it's frustrating that as soon as I open a new tab of that container it doesn't group this with the other tabs open. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 10238505, 5 years agoMakes full use of the Container function by automatically opening websites in their appropriate containers.
