- Rated 4 out of 5by Knight Yoshi, 7 years agoGreat extension. Good for keeping Facebook and Google from tracking everything.
However, if the extension is disabled and then re-enabled, for whatever reason, all containers are removed and reset to the default personal, work, banking, and shopping containers. This doesn't sync with anything and is beyond annoying. Containers are also not synced remotely either. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12838658, 7 years agoExcellent Feature, don't knwo if its there, but would be great to have a default homepage for each container
- Rated 4 out of 5by Nick, 7 years agoThis seems like a nice tool. I can't really tell if it's working as described and keeping cookies and tracking contained within different work flows. It's hard to know exactly. But the tool works well, and it seems that account logins are isolated withing a container.

- Rated 4 out of 5by 浅川, 7 years agoContainers is very useful, but I think there are two point inconveniet:
1. "Sites assigned to a Container" does not support match patterns (*), so you can't add *.example.com and you have to add subdomains one by one : (
2. The page "about:preferences#containers" is useless…… - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14362830, 7 years agofantstic does the job well and the tabs are neatly arranged in one large window
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14350839, 7 years agoSuper module. Il manque quand même la possibilité de paramétrer plus, comme une page de paramètre plus poussée et des listes public permettant le compartimentage des GAFAM et autres.

- Rated 4 out of 5by k2s, 7 years agoHas big potential, but assignments need improvement. at least sync to Firefox Sync, support for top domains and possibility to edit assignments as text file.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Anup Dhakal, 7 years agoAs a developer, I have found for myself a new use case for containers. I make different containers (eg. dev1, dev2, etc.) and use them to maintain different user sessions in each container while I'm testing my app.
Only thing that is missing (I think) is a quicker way to open certain containers, for example open all tabs in a bookmark group (eg. work related bookmark group) into a particular type of container (eg. work container) - Rated 4 out of 5by T_O_N_M_O_Y, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14334713, 7 years agoThis addon is great! It should be included into Firefox.
And as repeated by alot of people already: It would be so much better if the container settings were Synced between devices... Or at least give us a way to import/export them easily
But it's definitely the biggest reason for me to use firefox, after many years of Chrome - Rated 4 out of 5by Jon Morby, 7 years agoHaving recently moved to Firefox from Chrome (since Google messed with the multi personality settings) I was overjoyed when I saw this plugin.
It seems to do exactly what it says on the tin .. the only downside I can find so far is that it doesn't seem to sync between machines, so all the preferences need to be manually copied from laptop to desktop / etc .. which is a bummer.
Would be 5 stars if only the profiles sync'd along with everything else through Firefox Sync - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14331028, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14328029, 7 years agoIt's really great, but I wish the settings I have for each container were ported over with Firefox sync. The containers, settings for each container, etc. I understand this request may have difficulties I don't understand, but this problem is the only thing stopping me from rating this add on as perfect.
- Rated 4 out of 5by ergosteur, 7 years agoA recent update seems to have caused CPU usage to go out of control with this extension enabled. I've disabled the extension, and noticed I still have Container tabs functionality, albeit without the extension toolbar button - so I question the need for this extension.
Container tabs have quickly become a must-have feature for me. I have quite a few sites where I actively use multiple accounts (Google, Microsoft, Amazon) and not having to use a separate browser with a completely separate profile and set of addons is great. Even with sites that do allow simultaneous sign-in with different accounts, opening, for example, a work-related link in my work container ensures that it will use my work Google and Microsoft accounts and not accidentally leak/link any personal data. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14318010, 7 years agoWould have been perfect if you can sync settings
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13433941, 7 years agoI love this add-on. One of my go to whenever I bootup a new computer. Something to improve could be:
- Save configurations somewhere so its linked to my account. I have to manually add the same configuration over and over again when I configure a new computer. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13923064, 7 years agoIt's fantastic but the fact that the setup of Containers (names and assigned websites) does not sync between accounts is a huge drawback!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14274025, 7 years agoI wish I had separate new tab buttons for different containers
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13745296, 7 years agoReally cool idea, but a few key features would turn this into something I could use every day:
1) the ability to switch the container of an open tab. I frequently open tabs, then have to close them and open a new container tab because I forgot to open the container tab first.
2) a way to open certain bookmarks (or pinboard links) in a particular container. I'd like to be able to log in to google drive in two accounts in two containers, and when I open the bookmark for Corporate Google Drive, I'd like it to open in my Work container. - Rated 4 out of 5by Chris Adams, 7 years agoI love this for juggling AWS accounts and testing web apps. The only thing I wish it did differently was overriding the new tab keyboard shortcut to open in the same container as the current tab.
