Privacy Policy

The Web Clipper extension allows users to save selected content (text, images, or screenshots) from the internet to their personal archives.

Data Collection: This extension only collects data when the user clicks the “Save” button or uses the right-click menu. It does not collect the user's browser history or personal data in the background without permission.

Data Transmission and Storage: Content saved by the user is transmitted to the extension's server (Backend) via a secure connection (HTTPS) and stored in a MongoDB database.

Data Usage: Stored data is only shown to the user themselves. It is not shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising purposes.

User Rights: Users can delete all data they have saved at any time by logging into the web interface.
