by Dark_Ronius, 3 years agoThis seems like such a good idea in theory: Like "I don't care about cookies!", but which opts you out instead.
In practice, you're left feeling like you have no idea if the add on has even worked most of the time. Some of this is because of the broken way cookie opt-outs have been legislated, which means every site has its own version of the form. But I feel less trust in this to actually navigate cookie permission menus than doing it myself.
Worse, it breaks websites. Sometimes. I can't guarantee this isn't because of other addons I use, but the problems are always fixed by disabling Ninja Cookie. Tested this on Firefox on Windows and Edge on Windows. Also, tested on Firefox for Android (which is unsupported anyway).
I'd recommend using "Protect My Choices" and "Interest Based Advertising Opt-Out" to, by default, have most advertising companies opted out.
