Reviews for NoScript Security Suite
NoScript Security Suite by Giorgio Maone

by Firefox user 13544855, 7 years agoUpdate: Apologies. I just realized, a first click on "Trusted" only enables the temporary allowance. Only a second click makes sure this is a permanent Trust setting. Actually, I like this idea! And this also seems to work now. Maybe it would be better if the user gets an CLEAR introduction after installing NoScript (the way how it works totally makes sense, but you should explain it to the user)
Please ignore my old feedback:
The add-on does what it says. However, my settings which URL I trust sometimes don't work or the trust setting is forgotten on the next day and I have to enable trust for the URLs again! This is really annoying and makes this tool almost unusable.
Also sync across my Firefox browsers on different machines does not seem to be supported (but that would be still OK, if NoScript would at least SAVE my local trust settings!)

- Rated 5 out of 5by conscience, 8 days agoNoScript is an essential piece of the modern web, and it has been for many years. By only allowing the domains you need for vital functionality, you can avoid everything else that is wrong with the modern internet. You can easily exclude dodgy domains (that contain malware), so even sites that contain them become safe as well as far quicker to use. You can often exclude ads, tracking, etc. and anything else undesirable. Trying to browse without it makes the internet seem very slow, which proves what a good job NoScript does. It's so good it is one of the first things I install (after Firefox) on a new PC installation. Highly recommended.

JUST BAN THEIR SCRIPTS (NOT ALL OR THEY CANT WORK) - Rated 5 out of 5by Blargg, 13 days agoBeen using this for years on desktop, and now on Android too. A bit of a hassle to carefully enable only those domains necessary, but keeps slow, bloated sites from bogging me down.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Douglas Burchard, 2 months agoA terrible extension! Blocks nearly all websites not allowing some to work even after marking all scripts as trusted (meetup.com for example). I tried this for several weeks and would never install it again.

- Rated 1 out of 5by muzel , 2 months agoSince Firefox 134.0 (64-Bit Linux) (or newest NoScript 12.1.1?) my main profile is broken. I see only blank pages, as long as NoScript is active, and no way to configure.
