It doesn't want to connect even after resetting the password. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13737434, 6 years agoStopped working. Not syncing with any of my 3 machines. Add-ons are synced so it only the notes that are not working. Also, I don't like the fact that history has to be enabled for notes to sync!?
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14796384, 6 years agoIf notes can't function without making my history available, it is not a useful tool...and will not reside on my computer. Get it together folks, this was a stupid design decision. History has no business being needed to transfer notes essentially through an email address connection...there is no excuse for making the application dependent on this. If it can't exist without weakening seccurity or privacy, it shouldn't exist. Now the next thing you need to do, is allow a removal of account linking desktop and other devices as this alone is now a new vulnerability that could potentially compromise security and privacy. Thanks, you do great stuff, but hooking with Google, leaving potential vulnerabilities in security and privacy as another writer notes, is anathema to the communities history.

- Rated 1 out of 5by carbontracking, 6 years agoWhile it's nice that you can use markdown, the absence of tags for organising things (and/or the absence of folders) makes this next to useless.
The integration with Firefox and the syncing with Android is a great idea but since the note-taking app itself is primitive it's hard to see a reason to use it.
So, keep the great syncing, add in tags and if you really want to conquer/liberate the planet add in copy/paste of images, i.e. screenshot captures and that's pretty much it, game over.
And what about a Search functionality, shouldn't this be a basic for any notes app ?
I know there are open issues on github for all of the above.
To be honest, if this wasn't done by mozilla/firefox I wouldn't have taken to time to comment, but you people do alot of good, nay great, stuff so you've gotten us used to far better quality than this. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14519320, 6 years agoUses Google analytics. AVOID if you value your data.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Mr. Coffey, 6 years agoUsing google-analytics contradicts the ideology of the community. Quote:"Principle 4 Individuals’ security and privacy on the internet are fundamental and must not be treated as optional". What privacy can we talk about if you provide users data to Google?!
