- Rated 3 out of 5by NeXttime, 2 years agoI wanna give this add on 5 stars but I get no pop up notifications, even though I have it enabled. Maybe FF is blocking the popups? I'm on the latest stable version.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Kari, 3 years agoI like it a lot, reminds me of "Twitch Now" which got removed so this is my go to. Maybe a toggle for the number streaming to red and zero to grey 🤔 A++
- Rated 4 out of 5by MisterCrowley, 3 years agoFinding a Twitch stream notification extension is hard these days, what with the API change and the declining functionality of older extensions. I don't need anything fancy, I just need it to work - which this one does.
The one thing I would say this needs is an audio notification of some sort. I used Twitch Fox for the longest time before that eventually became unusable and suffice to say I got used to that aspect.
That being said though, this does work. I appreciate the extra details it tell you, like how many viewers and what the stream title is. It does its job well. If it's possible to add an audio notification in the future, I'll come back and update this.Developer response
posted 3 years agoHi! Thank you for your review. Sound alerts are on the pipeline, I just haven't had much time lately! - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15671944, 3 years agoDecent but a little bit clunky in a couple of crucial ways.
It doesn't seem to keep your follows in sync with your account unless I'm missing something. It's not ideal to have to remember to add each account you follow manually. Of course you can just import your follows again each time but there isn't an option to have this happen automatically and it also this seems to reset the notification settings.
On that topic, the notification settings would be greatly improved if there was an option to turn it off for each channel by default and only tick the accounts you want notifications from. Having to manually untick several hundred accounts is a pain. And as mentioned above it would be good if your notification settings were maintained when importing so that you don't have to go through all your channels again each time you import.
Apologies if I'm mistaken about either of these things. Overall this is a good extension, but these things feel fairly fundamentalDeveloper response
posted 3 years agoHi! Thank you for your review. I absolutely agree with the automatic sync option, will see what I can do :)
Regarding the notifications. You can disable the 'global' notifications and then import your list. If your list is imported while the global notifications are off, then all your streamers will have notifications disabled by default and you can then turn it on one by one. - Rated 4 out of 5by bebert, 3 years agoCould you make a sound alert when a streamer start a stream, because without a sound notification, this extension is almost useless for me, if i am not working on my main monitor and even when i am, i miss half of the notifications that pop-up. thank you.

posted 3 years agoThank you for your review! I agree, it's ugly, but my main focus has always been having a stable, working and efficient extension. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14405977, 3 years agoSince twitch are changing their apis, this is the only working one where I can see which streamers are online.
Thanks for keeping the extension updated. - Rated 5 out of 5by 43642134, 3 years agoVersion 3.1 requires a twitch account... which makes it completely useless to me.
Edit: After dev response I will change my 1 star to 5 star in good faith and as a thank you, I did after all enjoy 2.2. Good luck!Developer response
posted 3 years agoIt´s unfortunate you think that way, but this was not my choice. The old Twitch API that worked without an account will be deprecated in February, at which point all Twitch extensions will require you to login first. I can only apologize that it turned out this way, I also think it sucks :(
Edit: I appreciate the updated rating! If Twitch ever removes this requirement, I promise I will as well :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Gn. Cx, 3 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by iscar, 3 years agoLike the simplicity and that it work without logging into twitch itself. Would like option to hide counter if no one streams - i mean white zero in red square - for cleaner look. Also button to open twitch main page can be simple and useful addition. Thanks for your work.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Vlad, 3 years agoI do like the addon, since I moved to firefox Twitch Now was the only thing I missed and this works just fine for what I needed. Thanks Jota
Just a few suggestions for what I think would make this perfect:
An option to mass enable/disable notifications in the addon settings. Having hundred of followed streams but only really wanting notification from 1-2 streams...not fun clicking hundreds of boxes.
The other thing would be an option to enable avatars for streamers in the addon list, I feel is much easier to notice a streamer from the image and not just the name - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 9918772, 4 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Carlz0r, 4 years ago-Updating this review to say that the developer did indeed figure out and fix the import issue, as I hoped, so I'm removing that part.-
This has always been a nice and effective Twitch notifier, and does exactly what I need, nothing more, nothing less.Developer response
posted 4 years agoThank you for your words! Working on a fix for the import from twitch function right now :)
Edit: Should be hotfixed in the new 2.2 version available right now! It is indeed a known twitch API bug that showed up in the last few days. Thanks for the report. - Rated 4 out of 5by CodemanV, 4 years agoGreat addon for regular Twitch users. I would give 5 stars but every time I update my channels followed list, the notifications settings get reset and I have to manually redo all the channels I want notifications from. Would be nice if the addon remembered what notifications I have previously set when adding newly followed channels to the list. Apart from that highly recommended!

posted 4 years agoHi! That's great to hear, thank you for your comment. Can you guide me through the scenario you just explained? What do you mean by 'updating your followed list'?
If you follow an additional twitch streamer on Twitch and then use the 'Import from twitch' tool, you need to make sure you have 'Add' checked and not 'Replace.
If you are importing/exporting (via Export/Import Data) all your settings should be saved when you export, including the notification status. - Rated 5 out of 5by Root, 4 years ago
