- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17962862, a year agoThe UI design looks super clean, but I wish there was a clear way to add streamers to the extension (either that, or that the way to add streamers to the extension was explained). Tried on Picarto, Twitch and YouTube, none of them seemed to give me an option to add a streamer.
Also, whenever I do open either of the streamers already registered on there, it sends me to an empty page.
Here's hoping it can be fixed somehow, because the premise of an extension that can notify from Twitch, Picarto and YouTube is really promising to me!
(and for the record, I'm using Firefox 114.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Home (64-bit, version 22H2, build 22621.1848)) - Rated 2 out of 5by Cram2000_Kirito, 2 years agoBonsoir Shouka, voilà je viens d'installer ta fabuleuse extension mais problème, elle ne fonctionne pas...
Mes versions:
Windows 11: 22h2 - Build: 22621.819
Firefox: 107.0.1 (64 bits)
Chromium: 108.0.5359.95 (Build officiel) (64 bits) - Rated 5 out of 5by Polarstars, 4 years agoThis addon seems to lack any basic usability? the UI elements are basically all there (and are very sleek), but there doesn't seem to be any kind of 'add stream by url' feature, editing the streams of the two devs the addon comes packed with to have different url's didn't work either, and the search function despite looking like it should work, doesn't actually do any searching, simply staying blank when you hit enter. Does this addon not work at all or am i just dumb?
Edit: Thanks so much for your quick response! An explanation of how to add streams should certainly be on the description of this addon and probably on the 'help' screen in the addon's options as well... additionally, (and this is a pretty small nitpick buuut) regardless of the chosen theme the fade-in effect when opening the addon uses the defualt bright blue, which is kind of eye-searing when I've chosen the dark theme.
The app works perfecly fine, looks sleek and professional, and all with a fun level of customization with the themes and notification sounds.
5 stars, great for anyone who once had the Livestream Notifier by Freaktechnik, which sadly seems to no longer work with twitch.Developer response
posted 4 years agoHi there,
I do agree that the addon isn't all that intuitive to use on the first use.
I might add a page to add through an URL, but for now, you can add a stream by opening the popup of the addon on a streamer's page on a supported streaming service. There will be a little notification at the bottom asking if you want to add the found streamer.
The search function actually go through the followed list; actually using it to search on supported services is a good idea, I didn't think about that.
If you have any other question, don't hesitate.
Cordially,
Olivier. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15640738, 5 years ago
