- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17917196, 2 years agoGreat extension, but: How to (re-)import saved stickys ???
Thank you very much for uploading
the fixed version some years ago.
It works very well,
and I don't think there is a bug,
probably it is only a matter of
my lack of experience ...
Saving the stickys
to OurStickys.json
is no problem,
but I fail totally trying to (re-)import
the OurStickys.json I saved
some weeks ago.
After never succeeding on this way,
I thought about just replacing
the file in the place where it is stored,
but didn't find the location of the settings ...
Any help appreciated,
thank you very much! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17904004, 2 years agoDoesn't work for me -- I get an error when I try to log in.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Shodaime, 4 years agothis add-on used to be a very good add-on in the past.
thanks to yoasif for voluntarily taking care on this addon.
i wish there will be more options to login to be able to synch or share notes. i.e. like logging into firefox to enable them. - Rated 5 out of 5by tsimehcla, 4 years agoThanks a lot to yoasif for the fix!
The best note taking app! - Rated 4 out of 5by Ruane, 4 years agoPlease kindly add the ability to decide the URL where the note will show [with support to wildcard], when I put a note at example.com\subject12 it happens a lot that I want it to appear (with the same position and settings) in example.com\subject12\3 and example.com\subject12\5 etc... so I need to decide the URL pattern for the note in every note settings, I want to set the URL pattern as "example.com\subject12*" so the note appears on "example.com\subject12" and all the other examples above, I'm currently adding the same notes to many sub pages every time I put a note in a main page..., I'm relaying on this extension a lot, please kindly add that feature <3
ps: "Stick To: domain" isn't what I'm looking for, I need to decide the URL pattern myself. - Rated 5 out of 5by hmijail, 4 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14316038, 5 years agoSo sad to read about the author passing away! This was really a great concept for an extension. It was working quite well, too, up to a point. It was so great that you could create notes for any webpage, and they were all saved in a central location, but each would show up on the web page you created it on. Even if you didn't have that web page open, if you clicked on a note, it would open the appropriate page in a new tab and display the note at its saved location in the page.
But as others have said this new version won't allow importing of notes from the original extension. Also, the original extension would not allow you to properly edit notes once you had finished with the initial creation.
I would pay a nominal fee to help support this if someone would pick it up, correct the bugs, and continue to maintain it. If this were done, even without any new features, it would be 5-star extension, easily. - Rated 5 out of 5by Crumb, 5 years agoDear Yoasif,
Thank you for your effort to develop this add-on. In many respects it's the best. But I kindly ask you to consider adding two features which can make the add-on an absolute winner.
1. Make it possible to group the notes in the list by:
- tag
- date
- site / domain
and their combinations
Having this feature helps a lot to bring some order to a big mess of notes.
2. The ability to manage the add-on from the side bar. Since Firefox has the side bar as a built-in feature, it makes it very convenient to view and group the list from there rather than from a popup.
Please, have a look at how these features are incorporated here:

- Rated 3 out of 5by they86, 5 years agoNice add-on that offers a lot of functions.
The description mentions cross-browser (!) syncing, but I guess the dev means cross-device syncing, since I cannot find the extension on the Chrome Web Store.
I didn't manage to login in with either my google or my facebook account to make it work anyway... The links appear to be dead. :(
Also I think the sidebar of the "Sticky Notes" (by Hiroki Kumamoto) add-on is more convenient than the window used by OurStickys.
I'll update my rating once I can login to sync my notes.
@Yoasif I couldn't find your contact details so writing you here... - Rated 5 out of 5by JJ, 5 years agoBest one so far. Each note can be configured to stick to domain, path, URL variables, or exact URL. Very efficient resource usage, and screen space usage. No bloat and no wasteful fancy display.

But your addon does not import the notes of the original addon. Besides, it seems not do correct the bugs either.
Here is my solution (for the original addon):
add this Userstyle for all websites, to restore the selectability of note contents:
.__myNoteMainWrapper * {
user-select:text !important;
}
(for example with the stylus addon; you could change it directly in the notes.css of the addon, but I don't know how, it would be great someone would takte this addon in capable hands).
There is no better addon for this task, tried them all.
