About this extension
Page Highlighter helps you visually parse pages faster by outlining links and headings in a color you control. Open the popup and click “Toggle highlight” to turn it on for the active tab. You can set your preferred color in the options page. The extension runs only when you ask it to and never collects or sends any data.
This add-on follows the principle of least privilege. It uses only two permissions: “activeTab” to run on the tab you interact with and “storage” to save your color preference. There are no content scripts running on every page; the script is injected on demand from the popup. Scripts are bundled locally with no remote code, no eval, and no inline JavaScript. The default Content Security Policy remains intact. It is designed to be lightweight, accessible, and AMO-compliant.
