Article 1. Preamble

The “Pix Companion” Extension is a software program published and made available by the “Pix” Public Interest Group (GIP), headquartered at 23 rue des Ardennes 75019 Paris (France).

GIP Pix provides users free of charge with a “Pix Companion” extension (hereinafter referred to as “the Extension”), designed to blur or block certain content appearing on search engines and access to certain websites in order to assist the supervisor in his task during Pix certification sessions.

Article 2. Purpose

The purpose of the present document is to define the privacy policy relating to the “Pix Companion” Extension.

The use of the Extension by the user implies that the user has read and accepted this policy.

Article 3. Processing of personal data

The Pix Companion Extension does not process any personal data relating to the user.

The extension editor does not collect or process any other data, either when installing or using the Pix Companion extension.

No cookies are placed on the user's computer. Pix Companion makes its presence known to pix.fr and pix.org (by means of an event transmission system).

In the event of questions relating to the processing of personal data in connection with the use of the Pix service (available in particular from the www.pix.org website) the user is invited to refer to the privacy policy published on the site and available here.
