Print Edit WE by DW-dev

by sdschramm, 7 years agoI used to use the old version before Firefox 57 and it worked great but now that I upgraded to Firefox Quantum I had to change to this version (Print Edit "WE") and wow what a mess. It hardly ever works. Either a blank page, a page with a spinning wheel, or minutes later a popup will appear. Just to print preview!!!! This is ridiculous! It's faster just to preview in a PDF now! - Note that I am on a Mac with Firefox 58 - after reading some other reviews from people on the same, it sounds like I am not the only one with this issue. Hopefully this can be fixed soon!

posted 7 years agoA few users have reported this problem, when using Mac OS X Sierra 10.12, but Mozilla have been unable to reproduce it. Usually, the first preview appears after 60 seconds, and after that subsequent previews appear immediately.

HOWEVER: saving as html does NOT work for me. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13443993, a month ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12521173, 2 months agoDoesn't work or do any of its functions, don't know why it's listed as "Recommended." Graphics still show up in print, edits don't get saved, the interface itself is ambiguous, user unfriendly, and unintuitive. Why is this broken tool even on the list??

I would love an 'auto' function that gets rid of stuff automatically, and the user can tweak further if needed (or undo).
It would be more helpful if the buttons & functions had a small tooltip description about what each sub-component does.
If both these are available already, then they need to be highlighted more obviously. Perhaps a (skippable) mini-tutorial when the extension is installed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18939808, 3 months ago
