Data Collection & Storage

• Prompt Pocket does not collect any user data.
• The add-on does not transmit any information from your computer to the internet.
• Any data you enter within the add-on is stored locally in your browser’s storage and never shared with any third party.

Permissions Used

• activeTab Permission: This permission allows Prompt Pocket to detect the currently active input field on the active tab.
• Why is it listed as "Access your data for all websites"? Firefox displays this warning because activeTab grants temporary access to the content of the current page, but only when activated by the user. The add-on does not access any data unless explicitly used by the user.
• Why is clipboard permission not used instead? Prompt Pocket does not modify or manipulate clipboard data directly. Instead, it identifies active input fields and pastes prompts into them, making clipboard access unnecessary.

Data Persistence & User Responsibility

• Since all data is stored in your browser, you are responsible for managing your data.
• You can export your stored data as a JSON file and re-import it when needed.
• If you uninstall the add-on, all stored data will be permanently lost as it is tied to the browser storage.

Internet Connectivity

• Prompt Pocket operates entirely offline.
• There are no external connections, no API calls, and no tracking mechanisms.

Changes to This Policy

• We may update this privacy policy as needed. The Updated Date at the top of this document reflects the most recent modifications, while the Effective Date indicates when the current version of the policy became enforceable.
• By installing Prompt Pocket or updating to a new version of Prompt Pocket, you automatically accept the latest privacy policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about any changes.
