- Rated 1 out of 5by natalie, a year agoA fake extension, completely non-functional. It's a fanboi's failed experiment, one line of code swaddled in extension boilerplate. Useless, even as a test - a second line of code needed to call the first, was forgotten, overlooked, omitted. Not harmful, but in no way useful.
Shame shame SHAME on you, Mozilla! You didn't even check the manifest for consistency, let alone inspect or test the code. You warn the faithful "Make sure you trust it before installing." but that's completely asinine advice. Back when Firefox still counted one could inspect the extension code on this site before installing it - that at least gave users a fighting chance to identify malefactors and miscreants. Back when Firefox still counted you had a crew of volunteers who installed and evaluated new extensions and updates to detect malefactors and miscreants before sending them on to your users. Whatever happened to that volunteer workforce?
