by Izariez, 2 years agoIt's a good extension, but I'm always crossing my fingers while trying to use it because there are times it simply gives you an "error" message for random users. I'd be nice if you could fix that weird bug. I've no idea what the patron is that makes the app go "error" on 'em though.

As of May 17, twitter.com has been forcibly redirected to x.com, and as a result, it has not been functional since that date. It is regrettable because it was useful for blocking spam. I understand that the development has been stopped, but could you please fix it so that x.com is also supported?
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13674814, 6 months agoI've had a good run with this since I kinda sacrificed a username on Twitter due to a suspension. I'm gonna have to block manually from here on out.

And when it may be could, check blue badge and block only bluebadge(Not all folllower) - Rated 2 out of 5by Sheltie, 2 years agoI loved this add-on, I've used it to the tune of 300+k blocks.
However, It no longer works. It just errors out before it even starts running a block list.
Unfortunate, but that's how it goes. - Rated 5 out of 5by Bkuuzin, 2 years agoI've been using this addon for a while, and it helps out a lot! Two things I'd like to see: Ability to share bigger block lists, and the ability to block search results under Top or Latest, but maybe only if tweets contain specific keywords so you don't block the wrong person by mistake.
- Rated 5 out of 5by KaptainCnucklz, 2 years agoVery important if you do any politically charged Tweeting, especially since they removed permanent bans from the website. One extremist quoting you can immediately render your Twitter notifications section unusable for days. Saves a good bit of hassle.

- Rated 2 out of 5by ElBee, 3 years agoWorks well enough for blocking all followers of small accounts. Large accounts, not so much, as the cap is 500 blocks per run. After 500 blocks, the add-on logs you out of your account.
Twitter also detetcs 'suspicious behaviour' when you try to use the add-on multiple times and automatically issues a temporary suspension of your account.
Therefore, Red Block is unusable for real mass blocking, as it will take far too much time to block, wait a while, block, wait a while... etc. - Rated 5 out of 5by Lynx, 3 years agoWorks great. Can't block more than 500 people at a time due to Twitter's limitations, but it has a lot of features. Some of the English translations sound a little bit unnatural, but it's still usable.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17095038, 3 years agoI still get logged out even after the tool blocks 500 people.
I think it would be nice to customize the limit for how many people to block, because getting logged out automatically is annoying.
If I could set the block limit to 250, that might work better. - Rated 5 out of 5by Aoife, 3 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by L3m0Nate, 3 years agoIt works well for blocking and muting, as much as twitter permits it at least. You're limited to 500 blocks at a time, risking being forcibly logged out above that number. There seems to be a limit at 400 mutes per session, but no logging out if you do it several times.
The reset button on the counter works but you need to close the pop up after clicking and reopen it.
The interface is blank when not connected, but otherwise well done.
I recommend it! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15991902, 4 years agoSo far, a worthy successor of Blockchain! Used it on a small, yucky individual and their relatively small follower count (365) and it worked! Pretty happy with it so far.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13155905, 4 years agoJust rarely works well. Can't even properly block 500 accounts and still will trigger a force logout. It'll get maybe 200-300, but after continuous logouts and an eventual temporary suspension, it's just no use for accounts of 5,000 or more
- Rated 5 out of 5by Peter S., 4 years agoThe Red Block extension provides several tools for blocking or muting groups of accounts–up to 100,000 at a time-on Twitter. You can target groups of accounts following or followed by a certain Twitter account, or all of the accounts that have retweeted or liked a particular tweet. The extension does not block every account in a group reliably on the first run–as explained by the developer, this is due to the Twitter API the extension must use to block/mute large amounts of accounts at once. However, you can save accounts within the extension to run another session of blocking or muting later. You can also un-block or un-mute groups of accounts defined in the same way as above, and without the reliability issues of blocking/muting accounts. I have found it to be a perfect replacement for Twitter Blockchain.
