Fantastic add-on that does exactly what it says. It's great to find reddit discussions on interesting things that you might have stumbled upon.
Tiny nitpick, it'd be nice if there were more customization options for the little bar.

    This is quite handy, for those of us who read articles via RSS feeds, but are curious if the link is being discussed on reddit.

    There are two issues I have encountered, however.

    1) A really surprising number of web pages have some sort of immovable floating bar stretching entirely across the bottom of the browser window which covers/hides the Reddit Upvotes Bar in its default fixed position.

    2) And youtube is problematic in several ways, as youtube links are often shared on reddit using the "youtu.be/xxxxxx" shortened form of the url, but when browsing youtube you have the full www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxx form. The latter form will not work anyhow as this extension says it strips the arguments after "?" from a URL, so I'm not sure if reddit's search API itself is smart enough to return results for youtube links with multiple formats. It would seem youtube would need some special handling. I'd suggest an option to allow the extension to send full URL including argument in all cases, or at least as a special case on youtube.com. Regarding the URL transformation, if there are no hits on reddit using the URL being viewed then do the transformation and re-query using the alternate URL form.
