holy cow, i finally found a tab extension that does essentially all i want out of the box. i love the level of customization possible, and i nearly have my perfect new tab page after some css tweaks. more customization options would be welcome, but this is the absolute best extension for my needs right now.

it is just so customisable! so nice to see that. i hate that there is a giant logo of my browser on the standard new tab, but with renewed tab i dont see it! and i can add almost everything i want! 5 stars from me

I wish adding links to speed dial was simpler. For example with drag and drop (in edit mode).
