by kruser8, 8 years agoI absolutely hate the 8.4 toolbar add-on. After using roboform for over 9 years, The bottom toolbar is often in the way at the bottom of the screen covering up site information. Typically humans using a browswer have bookmarks and controls in the upper left area of the browser and even the browser menu visible if you have those turned on to show. There is a reason to have all the controls in a general location for ease of use. Having to sweep your eyes to the bottom of the screen? It's counter-intuitive. Having to move your eyes AND your mouse the bottom of the screen to use the attempt of the former roboform toolbar and controls hoping to work like they used to is tiring and making using the web NOT FUN. If you hide the bottom tool-bar the click-to-open bookmark in the toolbar icon. The functionality is limited in this menu. This new interface should be persitently matching against my data providing action click rather than having to click deeper into an area. One would expect the pop-down interface from the toolbar icon to at least inspect the website your on to do the typical automatic site-search-match against my password library. No-go though. I have to use the search context which the results do not have right-click options as the regular passcard options do when right-clicking. Even the bottom toolbar doesn't always recognize the site your on - sometimes I have to refresh the site for the bottom toolbar notice the site and find a match. I'm hoping someone is working nights/weekends & overtime to try to fix the roboform toolbar to be human friendly again. Very unhappy.

- Rated 1 out of 5by zwovi, a month agoOne thing that's overlooked in this add-on's presentation is that an account needs to be created. I fail to see why this is sensible just to generate OATH/ TOTP. On the contrary, I see it as an unnecessary security risk and a needless disclosure of personal data.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Neil, 4 months agoI've been using Roboform for years, and on the whole I like it - but the Firefox extension is SOOOO SLOOOW, it takes a good 10-15 seconds for the toolbar menu to open and populate (it is instant in Chrome). It happens on multiple PCs and reinstalling Firefox doesn't help. Please fix.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19509674, 5 months agoTwo windows 11 pro pc units, cannot add extension to toolbar in firefox. Multiple tickets that can't be fixed from the lack of support. They hold your sign in credentials hostage and or may delete them at anytime. Multiple issues with security such as having to make sure it doesn't stay signed in indefinitely. You better keep multiple copies of your sign in information or you will be having to redo constantly.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Veter, 6 months agoAwful premium support. I have a lagging roboform addon on my installation. The "premium" support without any measurements or logging rejects to help me. Without any reason and checking they say the problem in firefox, not addon. They reject to make any logs or debugs or anything else.
