by Firefox user 16321275, 3 years ago3 stars because of the good and the bad.
The Good - It works fine for me, I only use it now and then to get around geographic bans. I don't use a lot of bandwidth and I don't do anything nefarious. For these purposes it has always worked ok. Once in a while I get a slow vpn but disconnecting and reconnecting seems to get me a better one. It's convenient and I don't care about my real IP leaking very often. (I suspect it sometimes does and sometimes does not.)
The Bad - I need a server in ae to access a students course materials there. I paid to upgrade for a week and had that choice for an ae vpn and it worked ok. They gave an auth code and emphasized to write it down so I did. The upgrade only worked until I logged out, now I can not log in with the code and only have the free access. Support could not find my order and after telling me that has not been responsive.
For light limited use I give it a good score. For upgrading I do not. My recommendation for upgrading is to never buy more than the smallest 1 week amount. You are very likely to have to go pay again when your first upgrade stops working.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18776407, a month agoWorst paid VPN... Constantly disconnecting from any nearby location... Have to connect to far locations which leads to big input lags... And of course its not stable as well. Not what expect from paid VPN. Don't recommend this VPN.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Alepou, 2 months agoSetupVPN claims to offer “unlimited” access and “completely free for everyone.” Reality? You get 5 countries and 30 minutes per session — then you’re kicked off and need to reconnect manually. Yes, technically it's unlimited… if you have the patience of a monk.
It's like giving someone free pizza — one slice every half hour. Thanks, but no thanks.
Not recommended unless you enjoy playing the “Reconnect” game every 30 minutes. - Rated 5 out of 5by Bob, 2 months ago
