- Rated 5 out of 5by glittertoxin, 4 years agoI appreciate its clear guidelines when it comes to submitting pages. Like many others, I do worry about it being used to target trans people online, but... I don't think there's really an easy way to get around that while still keeping the spirit of the extension (I find that being transphobic and not being trans friendly are not necessarily always the same thing). I guess flagging transphobes or flagging trans-friendly pages would have to take priority in that case... Or maybe I'm overthinking it.
Anyway, I also am wary when it comes to the occasional inclusion of transmeds or their supporters - For example, I know Contrapoints has *said* she doesn't agree with transmeds and supports nonbinary people, but in the past she certainly hasn't demonstrated that through action. It has been a while since I checked up on that situation though, so maybe my own information is out of date. That brings me to the last point. I know this extension aims to tackle a very complex issue; that, combined with the reports being crowdsourced, makes for a really difficult task for its moderators.
Don't expect the filters to be flawless, don't turn your brain off. But this is definitely a helpful starting point and has made my internet experience as a trans person a lot less stressful. In an ideal world, Shinigami Eyes would have the resources to be available for mobile social media apps too... I can dream, haha. - Rated 5 out of 5by sammyeatsbeans, 4 years agoreally makes you feel better knowing that you can more easily avoid interacting with those who are anti-lgbt! thank you, developers!

- Rated 5 out of 5by SpaceAlienDragon, 4 years agoThis awesome and amazing browser extension really helps me, you, and others notice, understand, identify, recognize, remember, and distinguish between trans-friendly and anti-trans/transphobic websites and webpages. It also even allows you to mark, label, and flag or report webpages and websites as either trans-friendly or anti-trans/transphobic, which are displayed in opposite colors. For both trans people and trans allies (all supporters and defenders of trans rights) alike, this extension is a definite must-have.

- Rated 5 out of 5by cursed--alien, 4 years agoThis addon is great! However, I need to report a bug. I wanted to add a transphobe to the transphobe list, but when I right clicked I didn't get the option to mark the page in any way. Only "help" and "settings," neither of which were any help solving my problem. I really need this to be fixed.
UPDATE: The problem is actually with DuckDuckGo. Shinigami Eyes gets five stars again. - Rated 5 out of 5by antifaprivate, 4 years ago
