posted 5 years agoHi Aefna, to show the built-in list now, you can type a space in the address bar. Where does Google UK rank on the built-in list? Unfortunately, if an address was ever deleted from the address bar drop-down, it is hidden from this extension, so that's a possible reason some items on the built-in list are missing. (I filed a bug requesting a fix for that.)
** Google UK **
If you are opening Google UK to run a search, you can change your default search engine to Google UK to skip that step: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/google-uk-search/
** Customizing the List **
If you want to manage the list items or list order, I suggest using the new tab page (about:newtab) Top Sites section to set up your list, and then switching this extension to using the new tab page Top Sites list instead of the pure history list.
To add more tiles to the new tab page, you can go to Options/Preferences > Home, and set up to 4 rows (32 URLs). If you need more rows, go to about:config and edit browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows to the number you want (I've only tested up to 8).
For tips on pinning, dismissing, and rearranging tiles on the new tab page, see: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/customize-new-tab-page
** Highlights **
Accessing recent history or recently added bookmarks would require new permissions and a complete rewrite. If that is what you prefer and the built-in buttons don't cover it, you may want to look for a different add-on.
