- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13694206, 3 months agoI absolutely love it and am grateful for having such an easy to use extension, works especially well on phones.
I would love however a way to edit macros after they were created (moving/removing actions, adding delays, etc) as well as allowing wildcards in urls.
I would also love to have a repeatable macro (with a toggle) (for a number of times or indefinitely)
But overall really nice extension, thank you - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14698205, 3 months agoHas good potential, however seems related to URL. I sugest to be able to flag macro as automaticaly triggered for one URL or actionnable. Macro name should be an field as duplicate macro can't be loaded with the same url.
Waiting with impatience to get this kind of improvement. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15124846, 4 months agoThe new update fixed the issue where it would randomly forget the last action of the macro.
- Rated 1 out of 5by p0358, 5 months agoDoesn't even work at all with no cues as to why. It should but doesn't, I have a macro defined, adding delay manually does not help, cannot invoke on-demand, cannot have multiple macros per-site either, non-intuitive.

posted 5 months agoThe latest version includes a user interface to manually execute the macro. - Rated 1 out of 5by Kyle, 8 months ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Keitho, 8 months agoI'm hunting for a replacement for imacros which is no longer in existence. This looks promising. My use case: when I open an email in my gmail that I want to kill forever, I'd like to be able to create a filter to delete that one email and others from the same sender. I DON'T want the macro to run on EVERY email!! Any chance you can add custom macros, not triggered simply by the url?
- Rated 5 out of 5by Iman, a year agoA Good and handy extension.
Needs a delay mechanism before selecting a field that depends on another field.Developer response
posted a year agoYou can add a delay by selecting "Insert Delay" in the bottom red bar. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13939444, a year ago100% broken waste of time. It literally does absolutely nothing but show you a banner claiming that it's recording a macro. But it isn't. I tried 3 times. The macro was never there after I finished recording it.

posted a year agoA bug that prevented saving the macro on newer Firefox versions has been fixed in version 0.7. - Rated 1 out of 5by Naj, a year agoWithout a "run" button, there's no way to tell if it does anything. And there is no "edit" screen to walk through the macro.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12661319, 2 years agoI couldn't figure out how to execute a recorded macro.
- Rated 4 out of 5by JM, 3 years agoThe extension works for some sites. Saves me time from clicking on repetitive links. I wish i can add a slight delay to clicking on the link. Otherwise excellent work.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Agentur Mai, 4 years agoI am able to record the macro but there is no button to execute it. Tried several times, checked all possible options - nothing.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16207455, 4 years agoToo many errors trying to create a macro asuch as page repeating too quickly or page not found.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15690182, 5 years agoThe idea is brilliant! However sometimes it doesn't recognize site and macro is not started automatically or done partly. You cannot force to play the macro, because if you click on the icon, recorded macro will be lost. Recorded macro steps cannot be edited or listed.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14001927, 5 years agoPrecisa evoluir. Não há como dar nomes às macros, o que permitiria executar diferentes macros na mesma página. Outra falha é a falta de um disparador, ainda que fosse manualmente, escolhendo a macro desejada em uma lista.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Steve, 5 years agoReally enjoy using this Add-on, saves the few vital seconds when filling in repetitive forms on frequently used web pages.
One improvement would be to enable the user to edit the macros with a simple text based approach.
Currently if you need to edit some text the Macro is entering you need to recreate the whole Macro. - Rated 5 out of 5by David Rowlinson, 5 years agoGreat for my particular needs. Also Developer has been very responsive. Would just like the option to allow Permissions on complete website, i,e, "Https://Example."
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15216117, 5 years agoThis extension is really useful for filling forms. I have a suggestion; I combine this extension with another (Snap Link) which allows me to enter say 15 of the links to different forms. However, SiteMacro states this: "SiteMacro did not execute a macro: Page repeated too quickly." Is there a way to get around it or reduce the timer? By default, snaplink opens a new link every 50 ms, and I increased it to 500 ms, yet there is still the same issue. Is there something I am missing (like reducing the delay required for the macro)? Also, can it close a tab after it is done executing a macro?
Edit: I looked at the source code and found the throttle limit to be 10 seconds, so for now I downloaded it and built it again (with the change of 10000 to 25) - Rated 5 out of 5by Mark, 6 years agoSitedMacro works very well and exactly as described.
One feature request: I am using it sometimes on captive portals where the URL ends in a "?" and then has a custom generated random string like "234522345" appended at the end. On these sites the macro doesn't trigger because the URL after the "?" doesn't match. Is there anyway to get this kind of site to work? Maybe a checkbox to ignore anything after a "?" or way to edit the URL and put a wildcard into the name.
Thanks for the nice plug-in!
EDIT TO ADD: Thanks for implementing the feature I requested!Developer response
posted 5 years agoThe latest version (0.4) allows to apply macros to URLs that start with a given prefix. - Rated 5 out of 5by mdiv666, 6 years agoDo what it should do. For next updates please reconsider to add time delay for executing macro and if it is based on some JS or Jquery some kind of export of data. Great addon.
