About this extension
This extension is no longer necessary! Skype Web works without tweaks in Firefox now.
Skype Web FF is an extension that allows you to use Skype Web in Firefox much like you would in Chrome, without altering how your browser behaves on other websites. This is accomplished by changing your browser's user agent to Chrome when visiting https://web.skype.com and any other eventual pages under the same domain, but leaves your user agent be when visiting other websites.
In less technical terms, it tells Skype's website that you are using Chrome, while in reality you are using Firefox. which allows Skype Web to function in Firefox.
It may, however, not work flawlessly, though chatting/texting, audio calls, and notifications have been verified to work at the time of writing.
