by BrianP, a year ago1.) First, make sure to bookmark the setting page right after install, because you won't be able to find any link to access it afterwards. At this time a bookmark is very necessary!
2.) Make sure to "naturalize" your OS mouse settings to correspond with this extension eg. turn down mouse scroll lines in Windows settings. I had to go down from 9 lines to 5 lines to make it work together with the step size in this extension. Otherwise you won't get smooth scrolling experince.
3.) You must remember to hit "Save Settings" for changes to take effect.
4.) Disabling 'fixed backgrounds' gave me a better scrolling experience.
5.) Excluded Pages is very useful, because some webpages won't work with this extension eg. Youtube shorts in my case. After excluding it on the setting page, YT shorts works fine again.
Well, it took a lot of unnecessary time and effort to get this to work well, but now it does, so the extension is okay, but the usability after installation is not well thought out, and you get weird links to irrelevant web pages. 4 stars for the extension and minus 1 star due to lack of access to settings (must be bookmarked manually during installation!).

- Rated 3 out of 5by knufds, a year agoWorks decent.. but.. the settings permanently disappear after closing the initial set-up
- Rated 4 out of 5by mjf_pro, a year agoWorks as well in Firefox as it does in Chrome, with one hiccup: There's no link in the "manage extension" page that takes you to the Options page (moz-extension://378d4fd5-a767-4c6b-9064-98ded47d2d3e/pages/options.html). Apart from that -- thanks for keeping this supported in Firefox!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Atavachron, 2 years agoI can't find the settings for this addon anywhere. It doesn't have any options in the add-ons manager, and it doesn't have a button for the toolbar. The blub says it's customizable, how? Seems like that would have been good info to add to the 'about this extension' section. Also, the reference site is nothing but sewing, and the other site the author lists is just about paintball. It's a shame, seems like it has potential to work, but its workings are a complete mystery.
