- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16494723, 3 years agoTried before 1/2 years ago and had same issue, won't let me submit future time. So I switched to Chrome, their Snooze works way better. Not only does it let you input future date(with calendar) but it also lets you set Repeats, which is very helpful. I prefer Firefox, but will try another Snooze as these issues have never been fixed, on this Add on.

I'm at the laptop during the day and at the PC during the evenings. Most of my snoozes end up being for the evening. This makes "Send tab to device" more viable, except you don't control the time it pops up. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14598994, 6 years agoI like it! I was using Tab Snooze in Chrome before, happy to find out the same exists for Firefox! The only thing I'm missing is a recurring option. There are certain tabs I want to open every day at a given time. Would love to see that added.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Chuck Fries, 6 years agoBeing able to schedule a tab to launch automatically at a more convenient time (evening if entertainment related web content or an important purchase to be made close to someone's birthday, etc), is one of the best advances in browser technology in the last 10 years. Great idea !!
I ran into one technical thing I thought I should mention. The "Snooze Until" menu, which drops from the "Alarm Bell/Snooze Tab Until ..." icon on the main firefox toolbar/icon menu when the icon is clicked appears to be susceptible to behavioral changes (the snooze menu either doesn't appear or flashes then disappears), if it's appearance overlaps certain web content. This behavior is more apparent if the "Snooze Tab until ..." menu appears over another website's "Main Menu" or a Flash content web element.
My "workaround" for this behavior so far has been to either scroll down so that the "Snooze Tab Until ..." appears over a less content-dense area of the web page. The other interesting "workaround" is to zoom the page out so that all the content is temporarily smaller.
Don't know if anyone else has experienced this or if this just an overloaded firefox instance.
Like I said, i absolutely love Snooze Tabs and a minor bug is certainly not going to stop me from using it, but I did want to at least mention the behavior.
Thank you Ramkumar K R!

- Rated 5 out of 5by kstev99, 6 years agoI was using the Snooze Tabs add-on that was part of the Firefox Test Pilot, but is now an official add-on. I PREFER this add-on over the other because
1. You are able to define 1-6 hours for the "LATER" button in the options. This is very beneficial if you need to snooze a tab for six hrs, such as a sweepstakes entry.
2. You can manage the snoozed tabs from the Firefox Sidebar, something that wasn't available in the Mozilla Test Pilot version.
I really wish that there was a PRESET button for 24 hours or that it had the ability to create new presets (6HR, 12 HR etc.).
I do agree with another user that the "Pick Date and Time" screen is primitive and needs some work. It would be nice if at least the date were filled in and you could change it if needed with a dropdown box. Other than that. wonderful add-on. Many thanks to the developer. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13609018, 7 years agoHi, would it be possible to add periodic functions and assigned the date such that the tab will come out periodically or at my desired date? I used to use snoozed tabs on chrome, which is very well designed. Currently I changed my browser from Chrome to Firefox and wish to have a same/similar extension. I am looking forward to seeing improvement on this extension.

posted 7 years agoHi,
Thanks a lot for using this extension.
I have released a new version (0.0.7) fixing the opening of duplicate tabs. Please let me know if it occurs again.
Thanks,- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13537449, 7 years agoI like the idea of this add-on a lot, but when snoozed tabs woke up, they often either woke up repeatedly (even though I only snoozed them once), or many duplicates of the same tab would wake up at once (sometimes close to 10 tabs with the same snoozed webpage).

Can you please provide some feedback/thoughts on why the addon is rated as 2 stars?

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12697772, 7 years agoI love it but give 3 stars because it does not sync across devices.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Víctor A. Rodríguez (Bit-Man), 7 years agoWorks as expected but quite minimalist. Needs much much more features (currently using http://www.tabsnooze.com for Chrome).
Keep the good work rolling! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13164408, 7 years agoGiven 3 stars before even testing 'cause the developer's responding to negative experiences and resolving the issues.
Gonna try it out now to hopefully come back and rate 5star.
Edit: It works and does what it promotes as far as I can see. Four stars because there's a few little itsy bitsy features I could imagine and it's not just as pretty and convenient as its Chrome counterpart. So, I keep one star to upgrade some day when the tool's grown.
Edit 2: You know what, five stars. It does what it's supposed to and has all the functions it needs, and it's super useful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Newt, 7 years agoThe only drawbacks I noticed are those already mentioned by the developer. Overall though, it works as well as the test pilot addon.
The UI could be made to fit the Firefox UI better. - Rated 1 out of 5by Bridget, 7 years agoI snooze tabs and while Firefox is active during the snooze options, it shows the tabs that have been set. However, after I close Firefox, the snoozed tabs disappear. Very frustrating and unreliable.

posted 7 years agoHi Bridget,
Thanks a lot for trying out this add-on and reporting the bug.
Currently, the API which I use to snooze tabs (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/alarms) clears all the data when the browser is closed.
Hence, I decided to release a new version and store the snoozed tabs and reload them when browser restarts. However, the data will not be synced between devices.
I have fixed the bug and released a new version (0.0.4) and submitted it for review.
