About this extension
v1.1 Changelog:
- Added more streaming detection methods. Should be able to detect streams from more sites now.
Stream to Android Player lets you detect and open streaming videos (m3u8/mp4) from websites directly in your favorite Android video player app. Tap the play icon to see detected streams and share them to players like mpv or SVPlayer.
IMPORTANT: This addon is designed specifically for Android users, not for desktop Windows/Mac.
How it works:
- The addon automatically detects streaming videos on your current webpage
- When streams are found, a play icon appears in the bottom right corner
- Tap the icon to see a list of all detected streams
- Select a stream to open Android's native sharing menu
- Choose your preferred video player app to watch the content
Currently, the stream names appear as they are, which means the name may not match the video title, and you will have to use your intuition to choose the right stream. I'm working on a way to fix this in my free time.
Although in my testing it managed to detect streams from every site, some sites may not work, especially DRM-protected ones.
Compatible Video Players:
Any video player that can handle streaming links will work. Successfully tested with:
- mpv
- SVPlayer
What to do if some sites are not detected?
Leave feedback and I will work on solving the issue.
