How it works
Privacy & Security
Suspend Network freezes all network activity in the current tab. In-flight responses are paused mid-stream and new requests are held until you
resume. One click or Ctrl+Shift+U to toggle.
Use cases
- Inspect loading states and skeleton screens without racing against fast responses
- Test timeout handling and error states by holding requests indefinitely
- Debug network-dependent UI by freezing the page at any point during loading
- Examine partial page loads and lazy-loading behavior
How it works
- Uses filterResponseData to suspend in-flight response streams
- Blocks new requests entirely while suspended
- Badge shows the count of held requests
- Per-tab — other tabs are unaffected
- All requests release cleanly on resume
Privacy & Security
- No analytics, no ads, no telemetry
- No data collection or home-dialing — zero network activity of its own
- All processing happens locally in your browser
