- Rated 5 out of 5by Hilda, 5 days agoIdk whats with the rating. My guess is that the start of this extension went rather poorly. But the devs behind this project surely put all their minds into this. Right now it's working perfectly for me. Anyone that can't use this extension are either brain damaged, or their computers are bricks. I really hope the devs will still keep this project up in the future. Much love my guy //OvO//
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19755699, a month agoVery nice and useful addon.
But it does not work.
I gave browser permission (after question), but connection fails because of missing browser permission.Developer response
posted a month agoThanks for the feedback and for reporting this, there was a Firefox permission-handling issue in older builds that could show a missing permission error even after approval.
I fixed this in version 1.2.17.
Please update the extension (about:addons → gear icon → Check for Updates), restart Firefox, and try connecting again.
If it still fails, remove and reinstall from the AMO listing, then retry reinstall it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dark_Ronius, a month agoI'm keeping an eye on this with great interest. What I'd really like to see is for it to go a step further with its whitelist/blacklist and allow a different VPN connection per container. My understanding is that there is an API to achieve this, though it's only really used by Mozilla VPN

I've noted this as a feature request and will evaluate it for a future release. - Rated 4 out of 5by ddk, 2 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by A. V., 2 months agoThis is not Proton VPN. This is Swift Proton VPN which appears to imitate the branding of Proton VPN. This looks very deceptive.

posted 2 months agoHello A. V.,
Proton VPN is open-source project with (GPL-3.0 license) that allow anyone to fork and publish their own version, and if you read "About this extension" you will see that it says:
"Swift Proton is a *fork* of the official Proton VPN browser extension"
Also, this version of Proton VPN browser extension has new UI + new features keeping the core-fucntion of the extension intact.
You can check my fork project here: https://github.com/AL-AM101/swift-proton-vpn-browser-extension
