Could you add a feature where I could open a set of searches that are within two separators? As I usually group similar searches between two separators. Thanks.
A huge time saver addon to do many searches very quickly to google maps, youtube, google translate, and many more.
You can even add any site to search if you want.
AMAZING ADDON!
A tip on creating and adding your own custom searches by doing a search on a site that you are interested in. Do the search on the site you want with a keyword of your choice and then replace this keyword with {searchTerms}
Example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search={searchTerms}
This way, there are many sites where you can easily create your own custom searches and add them to the ones you already have available by default with this great addon Swift Selection Search.
Many thanks to the developer for this addon.Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by Tilo, 6 years agoDas ist mal wirklich hilfreiches Addon. Vor allem, das man die zu verwendeten Seiten selbst anpassen kann. Ich nutze es schon einige Zeit und kann nichts negatives dazu sagen. Danke!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Pete, 6 years agoDespite the fact the title introduces a small factor of ambiguity about what is actually doing, this add-on is really GREAT!
It offers the absolutely necessary functionality and flexibility, which, probably, ought to be available in Firefox, just "out of the box".
Excellent work. Thanks! - Rated 5 out of 5by All Darkness, 6 years ago

posted 6 years agoHi and thanks for the review! :)
A few hours ago, after reading your review, I was checking out how VirusTotal worked and saw that it did some "double" encoding of the search in a way that was very cumbersome to reproduce in SSS, even using replacements in searchTerms.
So I decided to add a new function that mimics the usual URL encoding, which it seems to be using.
SSS version 3.33.0 is currently in review. It will possibly take a few days for Mozilla reviewers to take a look at it, but when it arrives you should be able to use this for VirusTotal:
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/search/{searchTerms(encodeURIComponent)}
NOTE: this does not work yet, only when version 3.33.0 is available.
Cheers!
