after the change and customize the setting and restart the browser all the change reset... its my problem or your extension?Developer response
posted 6 years agoHey, thanks for the review! :) Here it's working well and no settings are reset when restarting the browser. Maybe your Firefox is having problems each time it starts? Try seeing if other addons (that don't use Firefox Sync) also reset when restarting.
Cheers!
Daniel - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14481789, 6 years agoThe add-on is fantastic! Unfortunately I am too stupid to add Amazon, ebay, google maps and other sites to the search links. I just do not know how to find the right addresses (url). Unfortunately, Google could not help me either ;)
Could this be added as an answer to my rating or can someone specify the url in their own review ... or is there a website where I can find them? Thank youDeveloper response
posted 6 years agoHi! Some search URLs are really hard. I also found Amazon and eBay URLs hard to decipher. Maybe this means that I should add more example search engines to SSS by default. :)
I suggest you try these. I hope they help:
Amazon.com (change .com to something else for other countries)
httpa://www.amazon.com/s?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords={searchTerms}
Google Maps
https://www.google.com/maps/search/{searchTerms}
eBay
http://www.ebay.com/sch/{searchTerms}
If something is wrong please email me at daniel.rb.lobo+sss@gmail.com. Conversations in reviews are not great for notifications. ;)
Thank you very much for the review, by the way. It's really appreciated!

posted 6 years agoHi! I've added Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk as example default engines just now in version 3.28.0, since I also find Amazon URLs to be hard to decipher. I suggest trying this URL:
httpa://www.amazon.com/s?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords={searchTerms}
If you use other Amazon sites such as .co.uk, .de, .es, etc, you should be able to simply replace .com with that. :) I hope this helps and sorry that my reply comes so late!
And thanks a lot for the review. Really appreciated. ;)
Daniel - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12141093, 6 years agoЭдакая замена Auto Context 1.5.0.3. При выделении всплывает окно для Копирования, Открыть урл, Поиск, Перевод - есть настраиваемые пункты меню

Bravo et merci ! ! ! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12597924, 6 years agoI didn't know that I needed this add-on until I found it. IMHO, it is the best Firefox extension that I have ever seen. Very highly recommended, obviously.
Incidentally, though the add-on works fine "as is", the dev is amazing in how quickly he responds to questions and suggestions. Just e-mail him at daniel.rb.lobo+sss@gmail.com, as AMO reviews are not the right place to ask for help.Developer response
posted 6 years agoWow, thank you, Defrilitus! Really appreciate the review and the praise. ;) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14250674, 7 years agoThis is a Firefox "Featured Extension" for a good reason. I've tailored all my necessary 16 search engines with relative ease. Except for Twitter, which I'm still having trouble customizing. Easy 5 star extension! Thank you Daniel.

posted 6 years agoSorry for only replying now!
I hope you got Twitter figured out. If not you can send me an email to daniel.rb.lobo+sss@gmail.com (reviews are bad for notifications) and I'll see if I can help. :) A simple Twitter search should work using:
https://twitter.com/search?q="{searchTerms}"
(Added quotes to be able to search for phrases more consistently.)
Maybe you want to do something more complex, though.
Thank you very much for the review! :)
