About this extension
Features

Sidebar Tab Review
  • View all open tabs in the current window with favicons, titles, and age tracking
  • Tree view preserving tab hierarchy from Tree Style Tab (or basic nesting via openerTabId without TST)
  • Collapsible tree nodes with +/− toggles
  • Active tab indicator
  • Click a row to switch to that tab, middle-click to close it

Tab Age Tracking
  • Tracks how long each tab has been open, persisted across browser restarts
  • Toggle between "Age" (time since opened) and "Seen" (time since last accessed)
  • Backfills open time from lastAccessed for tabs that existed before the extension was installed
  • Age filters: All, 1h+, 1d+, 1w+, 1m+, 6m+ (rotating button with right-click to go backwards)

Sorting
  • Tree view (TST hierarchy or opener-based nesting)
  • Date ascending (oldest first)
  • Date descending (newest first)

Selection
  • Checkbox selection with parent → children cascading
  • Right-click a checkbox to toggle only that tab (without children)
  • Select All row for quick bulk selection

Export to Obsidian
  • Export selected tabs as Markdown links via obsidian:// URI scheme
  • Choose vault and note name per export
  • Optional preamble text prepended to the export
  • Export as task list (- [ ]) or plain list (-)
  • Export & Close option to export and close tabs in one action
  • Tree indentation preserved in exported Markdown

Settings
  • Manage multiple Obsidian vaults
  • Configurable default note name
  • Confirm before closing tabs (with "don't ask again" option)
  • Dracula-inspired dark theme

Other
  • Filter state syncs across sidebar instances in different windows
  • Works with or without Tree Style Tab installed
  • No data collection — all data stays in local browser storage

Tree Style Tab Support

Tab Triage works best with Tree Style Tab installed, giving you full tree hierarchy in the sidebar and exports. Without TST, tabs are shown with basic nesting based on which tab opened which (openerTabId), persisted across sessions.
