by Zachary Hill, 6 years agoLooks good, but doesn't work for me, always get 404. I know the path and auth are right, clicking the icon even brings me to the right page, but adding magnet links doesn't work. (I think because it's under a /path, due to being behind a reverse proxy) I've used other things that work with the API, so the reverse proxy is okay, I think your extension just doesn't like example.com/rtorrent as my path. Any way I can get a hotfix for this? Another potential problem is that your extension may be doing DNS lookup for the path with its own DNS server. (As my path resolves differently from my internal DNS server than it does for external servers)

- Rated 4 out of 5by blarrbot, 5 months agogood, but a bit slow and can skip torrents if you're moving too quick eg more than 1 torrent every 2-3 seconds. so when trying to add an entire series for example, you can miss a season. Remote Torrent Adder on chrome didn't have this issue, but with the adblock changes chrome is dead. unfortunately finding replacement extensions has been the biggest hurdle. if this can get fixed, it will be perfect.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Conkuist, 2 years agoCustom URL matching is really nice and works well but the torrents only get added to qBittorrent when I disable authentication. Seems like Torrent Control can't login despite having the correct username and password. I don't get any errors so I can't be sure if that is actually the case or not. All I know is that when authentication is enabled it stops working.
Sadly, this makes this Extension useless to me.
Edit: For some reason https was checked in the qbittorrent webui options. After unckecking https it worked. - Rated 5 out of 5by nowix, 2 years ago
