- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18172413, a year agowas looking for something after the enhancer addon randomly disappeared. This one is far better and should really have more users. Has loads of incredibly useful features for PC users, from commands for the mouse wheel on different parts of the video, to auto click skip ad, to the ability to hide any part of the main page (begone, shorts). There's loads more features, including high/low pass (turn bass off at night e.g.), a custom grid layout, to even custom playback rates based on genre. Honestly everything you could ask for from an addon. When you scroll through the options menu you'll realize it has loads of features you didn't even know you wanted.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Ruy Fialho, 2 years agoBest of all YouTube addons, great and fast support from the developer, this addon is so well developed that it even has a CSS field so we can fix problems generated by other addon dealing with the same CSS classes in a conflicting way.
- Rated 5 out of 5by myaddonsname, 2 years agoBest Youtube addon ever, and thanks to the developer for the fast fix to Cinema mode, other Youtube addons fail to get it working.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14226201, 2 years agoI logged just to rate this, its amazing, thanks for this absurd work, please keep this stuff for free and if you do new paid things do very nice good stuff, i'm saying that cause we know how bad youtube is and its not only youtube, this billionary companies hate us for some reason and we are the people who give money for they. When i see that function to the controls only show up when the cursor is near to the control location i started to think how bad youtube is, i don't get why all of this tweaks its not on youtube by default, except the ads part of course. Btw talking about ads, any option to remove ads, i don't think is a good thing to keep on the extension and people will hate me for saying this but i'm thinking on the future of the extension for prevent troubles, if someone wants to remove ads i recommend uBlock Origin, its open source and is one of the reasons for be the best adblock, people are improving him good. Thanks for the extension, unfortunnally i live in Brazil and is hard to donate or use patreon cause the taxes here is a absurd, 1 dollar is 5 times more than our money, some years ago was 7 times, oh, was worse before, thank God, but now the prices are way highter than before and the president is literally a thief ex-presidiary, have proves that he is corrupted and people voted on him, its difficulty to live. Thanks for the extension, masterpiece.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12452163, 2 years agoI am really taken with Tweaks for Youtube. I have barely explored the features but I've already set up zones for what my mouse wheel should do over different areas of a video. I love it. Now I'm looking to see if it allows for visible preset buttons to appear at the bottom...

- Rated 5 out of 5by dom, 2 years agofar and away the best youtube utility - beats all the other ones by a long shot. this should be highlighted by mozilla by now
edit: usability defaults for scrolling zones arent ideal, and might turn off some users. I'd personally recommend having these settings use the Right-click modifier by default, as if they do not then new users (like me) will tend to accidentally mess with their video when trying to just scroll down to view comments or other videos - Rated 5 out of 5by Starsign, 2 years agoExcellent extension, use it daily, the split screen into multiple squares to use different scroll behaviours is what i use most, volume on one spot, skip forward/back on another. And click one spot to go in/out of full screen, the rest is to play/pause.
Plus it has a ton of other little features, like hide youtube shorts from clogging up your feed. - Rated 5 out of 5by arst, 2 years agoThe adjustable forward/rewind second is what I am looking for !! Thanks for the great work.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16160369, 2 years agoAt first I hated it. Later I learned I hated it because I didn’t know how to use it and it couldn’t read my mind therefore it didn’t do what I wanted it to do.
I was so close to uninstalling it and leaving a negative review, but I was too lazy, so I let it run. About a month later, I began to recognize patterns, that when I did X with my mouse, it always did Z. Once I began to recognize the patterns, I paid closer attention. Soon I learned I could change the volume with my mouse when the cursor was on the right side of the screen. Cool!
Then I learned the right side of the screen was further broken into 3 parts, the lower part changed volume in 1% increments, the middle right changed volume by 5% increments, and the upper right changed volume in 10% increments. Once I learned that, I loved it.
Then I learned, the mouse wheel on the left side of the screen, would speed up or slow down the video speed. I loved that. Then I learned the left side of the screen was also broken into 3 parts, lower, middle and upper, and depending where the cursor was, the rate of video play changed in 1%, 50%, or 100%. Wow, I fell in love. Then I started to go into settings and peaking around and figured out it will do lots of other stuff I loved.
Now I subscribed as a patreon and give $1 a month. But now I’ve been using it for a year straight and see its value to me.
But my first month, I hated it. I just did things haphazardly and I thought it was all screwed up. But now I know I just didn’t know how to use it and set it up to make it do what I want it to do.
I think the only problem with this YouTube tweak, is that when you install it, it does not take you to a video to show you what it can do, and how to change things.
Its only problem is, that for a newcomer, it leaves you in the dark wondering what the hell is going on. And that’s where the negative reviews come from.
Whoever invented this, thank you. Chris - Rated 5 out of 5by Azdec, 2 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Meems, 2 years agoWayyyy better than 'youtube enhancer', so many cool asf bells and whistles, my absolute favorite is disabling subtitles, that is a gem of an option. which youtube enhancer' doesnt have. you absolutely dont need both, i highly suggest using this one instead. its alot of fun. lots of settings, i find it easiest to use the setting icon, instead of going thru all the separate settings. its just one scroll that covers all the settings/options. well done whoever made this, efffing love it. hugs, Meems
Oh!, almost forgot. love the export import option too! wish all extensions had this. - Rated 5 out of 5by iG0R, 2 years agoPlease add a volume boost button next to the mute button, so that it is not necessary to go into the settings and search for this option every time it is needed.
