- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 6002538, 7 years agoThis user agent switcher works well with Firefox Quantum, it modifies the user agent via the HTTP request header and also the JavaScript property navigator.userAgent.
I noticed it does not take effect on https://addons.mozilla.org, I don't know if it is a feature or a bug.
Recommendation: instead of displaying deprecated mobile operating systems like Symbian and Firefox OS, the addon should add Sailfish OS to the list (maybe BlackBerry also).
It would be good to add the possibility to enter multiple custom user agent instead of just one, like this addon (not supported with latest Firefox): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/ - Rated 4 out of 5by Vasyľ, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by tony72, 7 years agoI was looking for a Firefox 57-compatible replacement for UA-Control, which let me map different domains to different user-agents. This at least lets me do that with one alternate user-agent, so it's a lot better than nothing, however I wish it was more powerful.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Nicholas Neal, 7 years agoWorks perfectly, however, as other people have said, it would be awesome if the browsers were up to date by default.
Another great feature would be specific OS, like Ubuntu, Windows 7, XP, Fedora etc, instead of Linux/Windows only. - Rated 4 out of 5by Clemens Ratte-Polle, 8 years agonice prog :)
but will it update automatically the faked devices, browsers and OSs?
My mobile device is still Android Nexus 5 - this is too old for many sites...
How can i set UAS to the newest devices?
thx - Rated 4 out of 5by Mattias Cibien, 8 years agoIs it possible to add user agents of the Search bots like bing and google?
- Rated 4 out of 5by kcufuoyeid, 8 years agoI dropped the ancient Useragent Switcher for this addon. I like that it's easy for beginners and it keep it's setting after browser restarts.
There's one major annoyance.
There's only 1 version of the OS and browser you can select.
If for example we could pick between Win XP, Win Vista, Win 7, Win 8 and Win 10 and Firefox 2, Firefox 39, Firefox 52 etc.
This addon would be perfect.
