well, really strange plugin - on a page with chunked video stream "blob:httрs://..." without any e.g. .m3u8 descriptor it just does nothing, even doesn't show it's active.

the other cases of web media streams are handled by e.g. VLC best way, so i don't need any extra tools at all.

Tried it on a couple of websites (including Youtube) with playing media but it didn't work for me. It "sees" the video and seems to try but all I get is the spinning wheel. Running Win7(64) with Firefox 115.18.0esr (64-bit).

This vid downloader works great. The only one which actually works well for firefox

I created a profile just to warn everyone that this addon does not work AT ALL on twitter/X. Don't waste your time.
