But the new UI is extremely tedious to use and user unfriendly. Went from being the best browser video downloader to the worst. I'd give it 0 if I could. Bring back the old interface where video would just start downloading after one click. What a moronic move by the devs. Uninstalled.

Every time I want to download a video a prompt comes out and tells me:" Native Application is not installed. In order to download streaming videos you need to install native application. Would you like to install it now?"
So totally use less.
I'm on Firefox 58.0.1 on a mac

i'm sorry for you.
Are you strong enough to push FF developers to develop browsers instead of destroy browsers?
i will use FF 56 and ANT until it is possible, then if FF is not fixed back to a working browser i will switch to another browser.
I think Mozilla is programmig to close business and hey put FF add-ons developer in the mud.
Careful!!!Developer response

You used to be able to download just by selecting from a drop down menu, now it opens up a browser window. Also, you used to be able to retain the original file name, can't any more. Finally, it used to save to it's own folder, doesn't any more. Total POS, will be looking for a new extension tomorrow that will work. Don't see the point in wasting any more time on an app that they apparently didn't bother to test before releasing, or didn't give a d*mn if it worked or not.

Possibility to change the destination folder for downloads will be added in one of further AVD releases.

For many reason I’m running Firefox 52.5.2 32 BIT ESR and I had installed ANT Video downloader 2.4.7.46 or 2.4.7.50 but trying to download files from XNXX.com it look like I receive a lot of part files, but this had not been a problem before. ANT just tell me that I need to install a Media Converter. Click on installation download then ffmpeg.exe and system try to unpack it without any error, but next download shows up with same error / suggestion. Firefox closed down / restarted. System Restarted booth without any help.
I had also tested the last update from FireFox, but then I just feel that ANT need more actions before I can download files. To many options to choose between, and not able to select the place to save the files.
Please tell me what to do for use the old version of FF and ANT.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

If the app saved the download to a folder on the computer or phone it would make more sense. If you have to be online to use the download I see no use for the app. You Tube has history files to save what you want.
