- Rated 1 out of 5by FirefoxUser72345, a year agoIT NO LONGER WORKS AT ALL, does not appear to try, just says cannot merge streams but does not even do the usual assembly.
It makes me very sad that this extension has been ruined by the developer. It used to be a really nifty extension capable of saving anything. While it can sometimes save SOME videos from YouTube the extension with companion app make it so slow that it is not practical. We are talking HOURS here. I am not surprised that the developer has given up. The least they could do is stick the source of all versions on GitHub so someone else can try and fix it. Thanks for your previous effort. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18163344, a year ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Racer_X, a year agoUsed to be the best one available but I believe that they have quit developing/supporting it any longer. Now it just doesn't work on most. Really too bad...

- Rated 1 out of 5by Varius, 2 years agoABSOLUTELY USELESS. Used to work fine but last couple of months, nothing. Only site it works on is momless. Doesnt work on YT, Dailymotion, bitchute or any other video streaming site. Always get the "native app not working" or "native app error needs to be on to merge segments". If it does detect a video the download will fail because the server will stop working. Utter trash.
It also chews up an ENORMOUS amount of ram which leads to Firfox freezing AND it has some really sus permissions like download history.
I shouldnt have to clear my cache everytime I want to download a video then lose all my log ins. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18003525, 2 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by 7ootles, 2 years agoWas once the best out there, but now discontinued abruptly and without explanation after months of flagging functionality. DO NOT INSTALL.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Zyler Zyzyx, 2 years agoYep, no more support. No more functionality. Do not waste you time.

- Rated 1 out of 5by FaceMONKEY, 2 years agoDoes not work with YouTube. YouTube occasionally re-engineers its streams to thwart downloading. The makers of Ant Video Downloader have not updated their extension in some time, as if that is not a priority.
