Compared with "Video DownloadHelper", far worse.

Works on many sites without any issues

Works with most websites. The only caveat is that it doesn't detect YouTube videos (at least not for me).

does a good job of downloading videos...

AND, for some reason, it does NOT return to the previous
download folder... if downloading a number of videos
from the same site, it's necessary to search for/select the
desired folder each time... PITA..

Very easy to use and does everything advertised but: it's no as feature rich as downloadHelper--can't download 480 (my favorite), can't monitor downloads in the app or in the FF download manager, and doesn't find as many versions of the video as DH does like WEBM, mkv, and so on, and it doesn't find mp3 either for downloading podcasts or radio. So with DownloadHelper as the benchmark, this fails to get 5 stars, but certainly worth 4.

If you're looking for a simple and very effective video downloader, this gets the job done.
