Easily one of the most useful add-ons i've found on firefox, works exactly as advertised, good download speeds, and works on most sites. In an age of restrictive DRM measures, downloadhelper is a godsend. Bless.

I last reviewed this 5 years ago and gave it a 4. In the past years, the extension stopped working on any of the Win-7 and Win-10 platforms with Firefox in my life. I didn't change (or recall) my review.

Today, I'm mostly off Windows and this platform is Linux Mint, v25. It works fine and I can save videos again.

Awesome app, able to download videos from sites where other apps and sites can't manage.

I've self hosted various apps, tried out numerous ad filled sites, but this knocks the ball out of the park - very much recommend.

5 stars for firefox, 0 stars for version 10 in chrome, not working any more

First they want you to install a sketchy software to "co-work" with this addon and now they plaster a qr code visible in your video when u download it, so you have to buy a license key for around 20€ to remove it. Trash addon at this point.
