- Rated 5 out of 5by Dangrath, 6 hours agoNext to uBlock, this is the most useful addon I have ever used.
I have downloaded hundreds of vids and it just works.
Yes there are sites like Youtube where it adds a giant QR code to try and passively force you to pay them a subscription (lifetime sub for $28, not a bad deal if you always use it, js), but for the sites I use, there is no watermark.
Also META constantly does changes to prevent downloads, so it currently doesn't work on FB and insta, but it has worked in the past and it may work again in the future.
The new update made things cleaner and more intuitive and the interface desperately needed it.
I dont mind installing the co-app for it to function seamlessly; its installed once and requires update once in a blue moon, its open source and everyone can check its code on github.
Thank you creators of this addon. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18488570, 7 hours ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Miles, 9 hours agoStarted leaving a giant watermark on all videos, rendering it effectively useless now. Shame, was a good app.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13523518, 9 hours agoWas great, not between that a lot of sites stopped working (like instagram) and that many that work just get huge opaque mark in the middle of the video it's between "bad" and "useless".
Uninstalled. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18488415, 9 hours ago

After you succeed in your installation of the extension and downloading, you'll be greeted by a giant QR code in one of the corners of your downloaded video.
Following that QR code, will take you to these nice people's website, where they explain that you need to pay about thirty dollars to be able to use this extension.
They patiently explain: "You may have noticed a sign at the corner of the videos after they have been processed by the converter. This is related to the fact the conversion feature has not been registered in the add-on.We apologize for the inconvenience, but Video DownloadHelper needs to be funded"
It'd be nice to know it before spending an hour trying to make it work.
Thank you all for all your work, and trying to feed your families.
