You choose to select a folder, and the new tab won't navigate upwards at all. You copy/paste a location, and it will never accept the location. It is useless to me in this state.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14678045, 5 years agoThe "Network probe" settings makes this extension highly reliable in finding the source to download from, though it is VERY CPU intensive, as far as extensions go. Never hits a peak in usage and plateau to a lower consistent usage, instead being the most CPU intensive thing running in my firefox browser perpetually, compared to both active Addons and active Tabs, at least quadrupling the resources required to play a 1080p@60fps youtube video.
But hey, it isn't called Efficient or Performant Video DownloadHelper, so I can't fault them much on that, I guess. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16018626, 5 years ago

And adds QR codes on Youtube videos. - Rated 3 out of 5by Toyotamahime, 5 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Joe, 5 years agoThis is by far the best video downloader addon in Firefox, in my opinion.
But it also tricks you into paying for the companion app. Why do I say "tricks" - because it doesn't say in its description or before installing the companion app, that you will have to pay or else there will be a BIG watermark on the converted videos. You will need to use the convert feature and the companion app to download 1080 or higher resolution videos.
I used to be a fan of this plugin, unfortunately not anymore. This plugin stays installed, untill a good alternative is found (which I thinks is going to be hard to find!) - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14022291, 5 years ago
