Since the latest update, downloads error out with "Sadly we failed at downloading that specific media."
It's nothing to do with the "specific media," because I get the same error on every download, on every site, using this now.

Insanely fast and easy to use, high-res capabilities and no watermarks or anything, it used to not detect YouTube but by July 2025 it downloads Shorts no problems, this rocks!

For something as basic as downloading audio, it first asks for an external app. After you install the app, it then asks for a premium subscription. Deceptive AF.

Really great for archiving. Giving 4 stars because the JPEG Gallery function no longer works and doesn't look like it will be added back.

Works amazing and on SO MANY SITES. I love it.

Note: Many people seem to not understand why this app needs a local (Companion) app. Most streams send data in chunks, and now separate video and audio in the browser, and to merge those chunks and audio+video they need something on the computer to do that. This extension does this VERY well.

I haven't used it very long, but I also haven't seen any watermarks either. I will buy it, because I value it, but I can't speak to what others are saying about a watermark. I do wish there was more transparent info about that.
